He made his Off-Broadway debut as Matt; The Mute in The Fantasticks & joined the Off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd as the Standby for Anthony/Tobias/Beadle at Barrow St. Theatre. Seigla also reprised his role of Pertshik in the Off-Broadway hit Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish at Stage 42 & at New World Stages where he can be heard on the Original Cast Album. Seigla made his opera debut as Gastone in Verdi’s La Traviata at Lyric Opera Virginia, and sang the role of Bruno in the world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon’s The Garden of The Finzi-Continis with NYC Opera. He continues to sing house concerts, oratorio symphonic works, and operatic concerts. For over a decade Seigla has taught and continues teaching private voice lessons in NYC with a focal point on vocal technique and acting/connecting to the song. Drew is making his Carnegie Hall debut this Spring as a solo vocalist in “Few Words,” composed and conducted by Bryan Perri.
